Medusa

Nefarious Aphrodite

Ravishing pure pious

I prostrate with all four limbs

Trembling, at the Altar

Imploring the Oracle reverently

To show me hope

Losing the demeanor in me

Petulance, vexed conflagration

Profaning the fidelities

Deluge of lament

Flogging me into

A noxious insolent whore

Ruthless, is the banishment I received

What merely, can trifling impiousness be?

When compared with the cunning conspiracy

To Escapade

Intriguing the duress

To dispatch the nymph in me

Bickering continuously with Moira

Denying all Fate

Mourning…

Screaming…

I see myself

I am now Medusa
